I am a writer? I am a writer!

Those people that know me, know that I do not consider myself as someone blessed with an expertise in writing. I never enjoyed writing through school and still, to this day, do not enjoy writing unless there is a purpose.

However, due to my determination to grow my coaching business, help others - especially swimmers, it is something I am pushing through. I want to be able to get important information about mindset, emotional intelligence and mindfulness in front of as many people as possible.

So, why do you care? Well, this is an example that could translate to anything. Perhaps you have thought or been told that you were not good at something. So you just think you are not and you do not pursue it. The End.

OR

You go against what others say, or even what you may think and show that you can! Maybe you are not the best, but at least you are trying.


So, how can this correlate to swimming? Maybe your swimmer gets entered into a new event, something that is not usually part of the normal routine. Your swimmer has a choice of how to approach this. It can just be a throw away event to not try hard in OR maybe it is a new BEST event. Maybe, this helps fill a gap in the teams line up.


Just because you do not think you can, does not mean you can't. Try it, see how it feels, see where you are able to do better and see if it is something that can help you move forward and progress in whatever it is you are doing!


Sometimes getting out of your comfort zone opens doors you didn't even know were there!
